We had an amazing one-day trip near Ubud with Putu from Ragane Taxi Service. From the very beginning, communication was fast and clear via WhatsApp. Putu helped us build a custom itinerary based on our interests and gave great recommendations to make the most of our limited time.

He was incredibly kind, patient, and professional throughout the day. We visited beautiful rice terraces, a local temple, a waterfall, and even had time to enjoy a delicious lunch with a stunning view near the volcano. We can fully recommend Putu and Ragane Taxi Service. After a brief WhatsApp conversation, we were even able to book a day tour with Putu for the next day. It was the best decision after our decision to fly to Bali. We were able to experience so many impressive things that day with Putu, and our 1-year-old daughter was also very happy and enjoyed being shown new things by Putu. Putu immediately suggested a good plan for our day, and even spontaneous changes during the trip were no problem, allowing us to truly gather many new impressions. Even during the trip, our questions on all topics were answered promptly and in detail. It's a shame we had to leave Ubud the next day. 10 day spent in Bali, 7 days of trip Kindly and professionally followed by Ragane. Putu is a master in his job, he is able to choose perfectly their colleagues and he is a beautiful and honest person who loves his country. We decided the tour on our own, he agreed to follow our plan, he gave us the right advices requested. With him we feel safe and we had the luck of knowing more from Balinese culture through his stories. We hired Puttu for 7 days recently to take us around Bali. He remained with us right from Airport pickup on day 1 until seeing us off. There is no word to describe him or his services. He the Best tour guide cum driver that we have met in all of our several vacations. Not only did he help us with planning the entire itinerary before we finalized our travel, but also helped us in choosing good hotels to stay in. He is a store house of knowledge on Balinese culture, suggesting the best time of the day to go to, best restaurants to get Veg cuisine, places to shop temples and beaches to visit etc and ofcourse fluent in English. Extremely, polite, flexible and above all - family friendly. His 7-seater Van is very well maintained, spacious and clean. Our trip won't be wonderful without Putu.
We are very happy that we made a brother in Bali and he is Putu. He is such a darling. Our family totally loved him and we miss him very much. His English is awesome and his behaviour and manners is very elite. We had wonderful time in Bali, he took to the places which are great and he has best knowledge about the tourist places because he is very experienced and professional. He took our photos like professional photographer. He makes us feel very comfortable throughout the journey. If you just wanted to know about how Balinese people - just travel with Putu for few days during your trip. We exchanged culture discussions about Bali and India. Putu is such a lovely person. My daughter liked him very much - Uncle Putu..
I will definitely recommend Putu if you want a pleasant journey in Bali with best person accompanying you. If Putu is there, u don't need guide or photographer. He is all rounder. He is very honest and loyal. I found other cabs cheaper little bit but everything comes with a cost. I used local cab app for 2-3 rides but the drivers are not even comparable to Putu.
We get what we pay for... I hope one day in future we definitely meet again Putu. If you come to India, don't forget you have a brother waiting to meet. See you again Putu. Loads of Love to you and your family 💓

Putu didn't just transport us around, but enriched our experience immensely with his deep knowledge of our various destinations, and of local life.

We engaged Putu to take us on a full-day road trip to 5 remote locations around Bali, such as waterfalls and rice terraces.

Planning with Putu was like ordering from an experienced bartender - we asked for scenic nature with less tourists, and he came up with several bespoke plans.

Not only that, we managed to avoid peak periods at major tourist locations because Putu knew to hit certain places early during the Lunar New Year holidays. Otherwise, we would have been stuck with carparks of busloads of people.

He was also extremely accommodating when we spent much longer at several destinations (so beautiful!)

When a raincloud descended upon the mountain we were on and shrouded us in sub-20m visibility, Putu expertly navigated traffic on sketchy narrow roads. He also had umbrellas at the ready for us so we didn't have to miss the outdoors!

Riding with Putu was like road tripping with a good friend. In perfect English, he talked to us about everything from Balinese history and traditions, Indonesian politics, the modern economy, and even considerations of modern Balinese life - stuff that would be hard to read from blogs.

Unlike some guides, Putu never drove us to establishments that give drivers kickbacks.

I am not a first-time visitor to Bali, but I am still immensely grateful that I chose to ride with Putu rather than get around on my own.

We’ve been to Bali for two weeks and I was lucky enough to be recommended Putu through a group of Portuguese people living in Bali.
Putu is amazing. He is everything we could ever wish for and more. Besides giving us the best prices, he helped plan our hole trip. Took us to the most beautiful places and away from others. He was our driver/guide when in Ubud, but when we move to Gili he was our guardian angel. Ferries were at the worst time ever and he still got us a ticket. When was time for us to leave, we didn’t got stuck on the island because of him. He arranged everything for us, even thou it wasn’t his “job” anymore. We didn’t pay anything for that. Besides that, he kept on sending messages wanted to know we were ok. Without him this hole trip would have been very difficult.
He really is a friend and I miss him already. He is everything that Balinese people represent: a humble, kind and positive human being. I’m truly grateful for having the honor of meeting him and let him guide my trip to Bali. I see him in every bit of the countries culture, that he proudly explain to me day after day.

I got in touch with Ragane taxi service in case I had a day free in Ubud and for a trip to the airport and I did not regret it. I was looking for someone who could give me good insight and information about local traditions, and a reliable service to get in touch with in the future. While I only asked Putu to take me to the airport this time as I did not have that day free, I was very impressed. Communication was great while booking and for pickup. He was on time, helpful and we had a really interesting chat the whole way to the airport. Oh and his price was very reasonable too! I would highly recommend Putu for anyone who is coming to Bali. If you really want to know about what Bali is and true Balinese culture Putu is the man. He is very well informed, punctual and price is very reasonable for the service. I am definitely hiring with Putu next time I visit Bali.

Puttu is the Guide to have if you are in Bali. He is far more than just your normal guide because, he tailors your vacation to suit your taste. Be it culture, adventure, cuisine, water sports, Hotel booking, Beaches, Temple - Let him know and he will make out an itinerary before you land so that, all that you want is neatly scheduled to give you the best experience of Balinese Society. The Restaurants he suggested (especially for us vegetarians) came in very handy. Very Polite, very helpful to senior citizens (almost hand holding) and friendly towards youngsters ensures the Family gets a great vacation. Many Thanks Puttu for giving us so much attention. We were referred to Puttu by a family friend for our maiden tour to Bali. From the time he received us at the Denpasar airport till seeing us off 10 days later, from a guide he became a friend. He planned out our itinerary in such a way that we had a very busy schedule but never tiring. Suggesting some off-beat places to visit after realizing what we wanted out of the tour. He made the vacation enchanting, informative, adventurous and fun filled. His scheduling helped us avoid long queues providing perfect experience of Balinese culture. He speaks fluent English, is highly punctual, very well informed and exceptionally courteous. He also takes very good pictures, which helps when one wants a family group photo. We spent one day in Ubud with our driver Putu who showed us several attractions we enjoyed very much. Not only he drove us to those places but he also shared a lot of information about them. He also provided us with a very detailed insights into the Bali’s culture and habbits. I could not reccommend Putu more for Ubud private experience.

Putu is a great friend and an AMAZING guide! He's always helping us when traveling to Bali, takes us where we need to go or drives us around off the beaten path locations. And he always goes out of his way to help us out when needed, even if it's not related to the job.

His services go way beyond "taxi service" - we've learned tons about the Balinese culture from traveling with him. He understands the differences to Western culture and describes the ways of the people in Bali in a very captivating way.

Since leaving Bali we've suggested other friends to hire him as a guide and they were beyond happy to travel with him as a guide.

We've been in Bali multiple times, had different guides before, but we're definitely only be hiring Putu from now on.

Putu was an incredible driver!! He drove us from the 2nd leg of our trip but I honestly wish I had known him from the beginning! With a wealth of experience, he has a lot of knowledge and insight on Balinese culture, politics, arts, religion, tourism, and attractions which made our travel experience even more enriching. Super accommodating. He drove us everywhere including the gym!! English is superb. My husband and I would definitely go to him again the next time we visit Bali. He is the BEST!!!
